Laminate Flooring

When it comes to laying down floors for a new project or restoration, laminate flooring mimics hardwood and is a more cost-effective alternative. Laminated wood is made up of layers of fiberboard that combine to provide a thick, long-lasting surface. There are also several laminate flooring colour options. Grey laminate flooring, white laminate flooring, and black laminate flooring are all excellent choices for in-home use.

Why laminate Flooring?

Laminate flooring are often less expensive to acquire than engineered hardwood goods. Almost all of the materials used in laminate flooring are either produced or remanufactured. For example, high-density fiberboard is a combination of sawdust and glues or resins that is compressed to extraordinary levels in a factory. This method requires a fraction of the time and materials required to down a hardwood tree and mill it into flooring.

And engineered hardwood is available in a range of species, which can significantly alter the price. While oak is generally inexpensive, more premium woods like as cherry or mahogany might cost twice as much. The “wood” layer on a laminate floor is only a printed sticker, allowing all laminate to be reasonably priced.
